…I started just 7 days ago and I have already lost 5 pounds and I am regular. My moods are much better. I have only increase my dose to only 15mg. My temp is above 98.6. I go to my doctor in one week. I have yet to receive my doctors manual to find out a few things but I am just estatic about my improvements. Keep up the good work. God bless.

About the Author:

Denis Wilson, MD described Wilson 's Temperature Syndrome in 1988 after observing people with symptoms of low thyroid and low body temperature, yet who had normal blood tests. He found that by normalizing their temperatures with T3 (without T4) their symptoms often remained improved even after the treatment was discontinued. He was the first doctor to use sustained-release T3.

How do I convince my provider to change my medication from Synthroid to the T3? all of this is related to my symptoms! I have done the temperature testing by myself, and it is always below 98. usually 96-97 range is the normal for me. There are no doctors in Alaska that specialize or know about this syndrome. I still look back at all my pictures at family gatherings, and I have a red face, always hot, but never running a fever. every day someone asks me if I am tanning. its hard to explain to a provider, when they say, you don’t even have a fever, look at your temperature, look at your past temperatures, no fevers.. It might be difficult to convince your provider of anything. However, one idea is you could introduce your provider to my book “Evidence-based approach to restoring thyroid health.” It has over 800 scientific references. If your doctor has the time to look at the science then your doctor might be persuaded. Also, you could look at this: http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/patients/recruiting-a-doctor/
