Secondary Complications of Diabetes

Research shows that there are two major causes of diabetic retinopathy (which impairs vision),

  • the production of free radicals due to such high amounts of sugar
  • the production of sorbitol which causes increased osmotic pressure that causes swelling and distortion of cells. It also causes two important anti-oxidants, B6 and glutathione, out of the cells leaving them vulnerable to the free radicals.

DiabetiCare contains Jambul which can actually help decrease secondary complications.

Similar problems can affect the kidney's and lead to kidney failure. Kidney damage due to Diabetes is known as diabetic nephropathy.

Example Cases

There is a person who was on dialysis for kidney failure who began taking herbs and recovered so well that she didn't need dialysis anymore.

Diabetic nephropathy has five stages of severity that range from the early stages to complete renal failure. Diabetic organizations consider diabetic nephropathy to be a progressive renal disease. Nowhere is it said that it's possible that it can be a regressive disease, but apparently it can. Some patients have gone from Stage III to Stage I, while others have gone from Stage II to Stage 0, while using DiabetiCare.
