Cho-Less - The prime cholesterol reducing agent is Red Yeast
Rice Extract, which naturally contains the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor
mevinolin found in Lovastatin. However, when used in correct dosages,
this balanced product of nature has been shown to be both clinically
effective in reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels and free
of the troubling side-effects of 'statin' drugs such as elevated
liver enzymes, and serious muscle diseases. Garcinia (Garcinia Cambogia)
extract lowers cholesterol, increases HDL, and curbs the appetite.
Guggul (Commiphora mukul) is considered the best herb for cholesterol
in Ayurvedic medicine. The active ingredient guggulsterones increases
the uptake of LDL cholesterol from the blood by the liver. Globe
artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a proven cholesterol-lowering agent
and is one of the best liver tonics in western herbalism.
Recommended Dosage
2 caps three times a day
Combination with WT3 Protocol:
Since hypercholesterolemia is often a secondary effect of low thyroid
function or WTS, cholesterol levels often drop from even high levels
in the 300 range down to normal range after six weeks of normal
temperatures on the WT3 protocol and/or ThyroCare. One patient had cholesterol
levels in the low 300's in spite of being treated with several different
cholesterol lowering drugs and following a strict diet. With the
WT3 protocol and the ensuing normalization of her body temperature
pattern, her symptoms of WTS resolved. Within 1.5 months, her blood
cholesterol levels had dropped below 200 for the first time in years
despite the fact that she had not taken her cholesterol-lowering
drugs during that 1.5-month period.
Combination with ThyroCare:
Clinical study of the use of Cho-Less indicated that people who
had low temperatures experienced only a mild effect from taking
Cho-Less. When Cho-Less was taken in conjunction with ThyroCare
however, dramatic results occurred. One doctor reported that a patient's
cholesterol levels went from 348 mg/dL to 116 mg/dL within three
months of taking these medicines together. This patient was never
able to go below 280 mg/dL while taking pharmaceutical medications
for cholesterol.
Drug Interactions:
None reported.
What to Expect:
Patients usually respond within 8 weeks.
Lab Tests:
Improvements in the lipid profile should be noticed
within 2 to 3 months. A 10-40% decrease should be noted. There have
been no reports of blood lipids going below desirable levels.
Side Effects:
Approximately 3,000 people have taken Cho-Less and
no side effects have been reported.
Side Benefits:
Due to the fact that many of the herbs in Cho-Less
focus on strengthening liver function, liver health might be restored.
