Thank you so much for all you do. I've been taking WTS Thyrocare and Adaptogen 2-3 times a day and Healthy Foundation when I think of it. Sometimes 1x day, sometimes I forget for several days.

I definitely notice a change in my energy level when I remember to take the WTSmed Supplements and I'm rarely achy the way I used to be when I didn't take them. Actually, I realize I've fallen off the supplement wagon for a couple of days when I start feeling tired a lot or achy. Then it dawns on me that it's been a day or two since I've taken my WTSmed supplements.

I love getting your emails because often they're what remind me to get back on track and what a difference they make! One would think I wouldn't forget to take them since I feel so much better with the WTSmed supps. I work at home and don't have a "regular" schedule like I used to when I worked in an office or when I had a dog. I think one of the things I must do it set up a routine for myself and make sure to include WTS in the routine.

Thank you again for being there. I do appreciate WTS and all you do to help people.

Regards,
D. Friedrich

I started the treatment for Wilson's Syndrome 16 days ago. My doctor is the only local doctor that knows about Wilson's syndrome. Believe it or not he actually brought it up to me! I am a R.N. and was sceptical at first but decided to try it anyways. Well I am glad that I did. I have lost 6 pounds in 16 days, noticed a decrease in depression, it has resolved my insomnia, and increased my energy level dramaticaly. These were all goals of mine that treatment has resolved. My body temperature had reach normal after the first week but is declining now that the dosage is also. As my dose declines I notice an increase in fatigue. Regardless I am still doing better than I was without the treatment. Thank you!

Great to hear about your response, hopefully you'll do better on less medicine on subsequent cycle(s) until you no longer need T3.

Warmly,

I've noticed a difference in taking DB care and Thyrocare but I know I haven't taken enough of it simply because I take so many supplements (I get tired of swallowing pills). Some sacrifices do have to made to be healthy so I will increase my intake. My sugar readings have been a lot better than they were and the horrible symptoms I had from my Thyroid problems have almost gone away and I'm only taking one pill a day. I know if I took three a day I'd probably feel even better. I will be ordering more soon and I have a friend that will be purchasing a bottle of Thyrocare because her Armour Throid script isn't helping her anymore. I'll keep you updated on my great health to come. God Bless.

Question & Answers

I have been on T3 for nearly a year and I haven't felt this good in nearly 17 years!

However, I have recently been told that I will be losing my insurance that covers the T3 compounding pharmacy that I've been using. How effective is cytomel and what are the long term effects of using T3 and cytomel?

Nicole

As you know, Cytomel is instant-release T3 and pharmacists compound T3 with a sustained release agent. The T3 in Cytomel and the compounded medicine is the same but they have different intended delivery.

Some people tolerate Cytomel just fine, particularly after their bodies have become accustomed to being on T3 for a period of months. However, some people do not tolerate being on instant-release T3 very well. There is a greater chance of unsteady T3 levels when taking Cytomel, and unsteady T3 levels can lead to side effects such as palpitations and rapid heart rates.
You can Click here for more information on long term usage of T3.

Is WT3 therapy for someone who has hypothyroidism with a goiter?

The WT3 protocol can be very helpful in patients with hypothyroidism and goiters. T3 is often more dramatically suppressive of TSH levels than T4 is.

Permanent hypothyroidism can be treated with T3 for long periods of time, but it is more usual for the hypothyroidism to be treated with T3 in the short term and with T4 in the long term. One major purpose in using T3 initially is in the effort to recalibrate people's thyroid systems so that they will need a lower maintenance doses of T4 than they would have needed had they not been treated with T3 initially.

Hope that helps,

Can an ND (naturopath) obtain products and treat my WTS or do I need an MD?

Yes, a Naturopath can obtain our products. Naturopaths can also prescribe T3 in some states.

Warm wishes,
Denis Wilson, MD
