YES, I have definitely seen an improvement, and I have only been taking one each (ThyroCare, Adaptogen, Healthy Foundation) every morning. I did that to see if I can tolerate them, and now I will begin taking them 2x a day. I see an improvement in my energy level and in my emotional well-being. I believe that the Adaptogen is particularly helping my adrenal glands, which I think were quite overworked. I have been on Armour thyroid for about 16 months now, and it has helped my tremendously as I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia years ago. I have been unsuccessful though, in maintaining that well-being until I started to investigate further and came across Dr. Wilson's website. I will continue the supplements and will continue to keep you posted. Quick question: do you know if it's ok to take them in the evening? Will the ingredients interfere with my sleep? Thanks again and take care, Michelle C. New York

Yes Michelle, you can take the herbs any time of the day or night and they should not interfere with your sleep. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

Hello, I had a consistently low temperature, and shared that with my doctor. He put me on T-3 therapy. My temp came up to normal with the second dose. I kept taking the meds for a week anyway and then stopped. My temp has been 98.6 ever since. I do have questions. What exactly is T-3, and where do you get it? It works unbelievably well. I feel much better, in many respects. My doctor also has me on a variety of supplements, and on a food sensitivity diet. I'm looking forward to the day when I feel as good as new. I'm almost there! T3 is the active thyroid hormone. We normally recommend T3 alone (without T4 which is another thyroid hormone). In order for the T3 to be isolated that way it is made synthetically. Glad to hear you're feeling better! Denis Wilson, MD

After having been on the supplements that I bought from you, ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation, for about 2-3 weeks I noticed times when my temperature had gone back up to normal (37 degrees Celcius). I have run out of ThyroCare at the moment and am noticing that my temperature has slipped down again (36 degrees Celcius)... and am starting to put weight back on. Thanks very much, Dianna B.

I have multiple chemical sensitivity, and episodes with it seem to aggravate WTS symptoms, lower my average body temperature, and increase temperature instability. Have you come across anyone else with WTS and MCS? How well did they do? Did they need to stay on or use T3 prophylactically to avoid relapses in response to further chemical exposures?

Yes, many patients with chemical sensitivities respond quite well when their temperatures are normalized with the WT3 protocol. Normalization of body temperatures is one of the most commonly effective treatments for MCS. It doesn't work in all cases but in many cases it works exceedingly well. Some patients need to stay on or use T3 prophylactically, while others do not. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

I'm allergic to synthroid/levoxyl. Are there animal source medications with T3 that I would not be allergic to? Thank you, Marilyn

Dear Marilyn, There are no animal sources of pure T3. T3 is made synthetically. It may be that you're not allergic to the synthetic T4 in synthroid but to some ingredient used in manufacture (most of a synthroid tablet is not T4). T3 and T4 are already in your body and are not foreign so it seems unlikely that you would be allergic to either of those. Medaus Pharmacy compounds (mixes) the T3 with other hypoallergenic ingredients. Your doctor can call them and I think there is a good chance that your doctor and Medaus can come up with a preparation you can tolerate well. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

I am confused...if my temperature ranges from 96.0-97.6 on a daily basis, should I be taking T3 or ThyroCare? Pam Oregon

Some people find that when they start supporting their thyroid system nutritionally with ThyroCare, their temperatures come up to normal. Some find that T3 therapy normalizes their temperatures. Some people want to see if they can take herbs and hopefully avoid having to take prescription thyroid medicine, whereas, some want to take T3 and only take the herbs if they need to. On the other hand, some people want to try both at the same time in the hopes of feeling better as soon as possible. The cases that require T3 are generally the more severe cases, but the most definitive way to see if cases are severe or not is to see how they respond to the herbs and/or T3. So it often boils down to what the doctors and patients want to try first. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD
