I [added ThyroCare to the T3 I was on] at the suggestion of my doctor (who is on your list of physicians). I began taking 1 pill TID. ThyroCare helped stabilize my temps closer to the 98.6 range almost immediately, but after 4 days, diarrhea hit and lasted for several days. I called my doctor who suggested that I go off it til my system got back to normal and perhaps I would only need 1 pill/week. I took one ThyroCare last Sunday when my temps started to flucuate more than two tenths and the next couple of days showed temps stabilizing. I have been on T3 since the end of last July, and am finally seeing temperatures beginning to stabilize at 98.6 with the help of the ThyroCare. I am SO thankful that I found your website and was able to find a doctor willing to treat patients with T3, as my regular physician wouldn't even listen to the CD or look at the manual I downloaded. My T3 physician (found from your website) has been my saving grace!! She has listened to me and offered suggestions as I've been on this "T3 journey", and I feel like I have my life back. Before I found your website, I asked my regular physician why I never felt any better in all the years he has had me on Synthroid. His answer, of course, was "the bloodwork shows we are doing the right thing." When I began to feel like he was treating me like I was a hypochondriac, I asked him to refer me to an endocrinologist. He agreed. After many tests and much money later, I was given the diagnosis of Hashimoto's and told that my physician was "doing the right thing." After finding your website, I understand why. My journey with T3 has taught me to never give up, to keep looking for answers, and to know that if I'm willing to take the chance and do the hard work, it will be worth the effort. Since my temps have gone from the 97 area up and have finally shown signs of stabilizing around 98.6, I have noticed many areas in improvement in my life especially in the areas of motivation, mood, and stamina. I simply FEEL better. I have been religious to a fault about taking my temps and T3. It used to seem like work but now it's just a part of my life. There's always an alarm set at our house to remind me of temps or pill time. I don't expect my insurance to pay for T3 protocol in MY lifetime, but I pray that doctors around the country will open their hearts and minds enough to LISTEN to their patients. This will not happen with a doctor who schedules patients every 15 minutes and isn't willing to LISTEN to anyone except the drug companies. How sad!! Thank you, Dr. Wilson, for listening to your patients and deciding to dig deeper in your effort to help them. Thank you for your website, your products, and your manual which helps explain the whole process to the layman. I'm sure your journey down this path has not always been a pleasant one, but if it were not for people like you, patients like us would have no choice but to pop a pill and believe it works when we know it's just lining the pockets of a drug company. Again, thank you...thank you....thank you!!!! C. Leftridge

I have a thyroid conversion problem and occasionally, due to stress, I have poor adrenal function which I support with supplements. After convincing my endo to try me just on T3 the change in my physical well being was obvious to see. This year, however, my symptoms returned even though the lab tests said my levels were okay, but my temperature was low again (96). I convinced my GP to let me try an increase knowing the indicators of too much---- the uptake by my body of the extra T3 was more or less immediate and over 2 weeks the fluid retention and carpal tunnel syndrome went, my metabolism has normalized, and the fatigue went. Best wishes, Georgette

I have been using [Adaptogen] for a few weeks and have noticed a difference. I even tried some of my chiro's adrenal vitamin and didn't notice any improvement after 4 weeks. So I went back to your product (Adaptogen). I really like it. It really seems to help take the edge off; I feel more relaxed without feeling cloudy. Thanks for your help. Rachelle

I watched you on Dr. Becker's TV show and did order [ThyroCare, Adaptogen, and Healthy Foundation]. What I need to know for myself and for my daughter, do I need to be under the Dr's care if I use the ThyroCare? Should I still take the Armour or do I have to discuss this again with my Dr.? He had previously told me that I had Wilson's Syndrome, he keeps cutting back on the Armour, in fear of bone density loss. My hair loss is worse again and I am always cold. My temperature runs between 95.7 to 96.6 and was in the 94.'s before the Dr. put me on Armour. I have always been cold for as long as I can remember.

You do not need to be under a doctor's care to use ThyroCare. You will need a doctor's care to help you manage your thyroid medicine. If you are taking Armour it may be that you do need thyroid hormone. ThyroCare is not a thyroid hormone so if you do need thyroid hormone then ThyroCare will not be enough. Many times, the WT3 protocol can normalize patients temperatures when Armour cannot. You may want to tell your doctor about our free online Doctor's Manual and our free tech support for physicians (800-420-5801).

Do you have strategies for remembering to take the capsules exactly 12 hours apart? At home I can set an alarm and that is helpful, but I travel a lot -- even to other countries -- and I am having trouble sticking exactly to the times since often I cross many time zones. I tried an alarm watch, but I am often in situations where that is not appropriate. I'm wondering how critical the exact 12 hours are and, if they are, how can I do it? --Dee, Alaska

Yes, it is important to take the medicine very much on time. Here's what the manual says about Time Zones (see bottom of page 164). It sounds as if the Vibrating Mini Timer might serve your needs well. It's best feature is that it vibrates...that way it is discreet in various circumstances, yet is still noticeable in noisy environments. Hope that helps, Denis Wilson, MD

My basal temp is 96.4 and has been for over 30 years. I had tried your timed-release T3 therapy with a doctor in upstate NY a few years back, but had to abandon it due to severe heart palpitations. I have since tried Armour Thyroid, but had to stop that also due to getting the shakes from taking it. It seems likely that I cannot tolerate T3. Is there anything else I should be aware of that could help raise my temps? Thanks, Peggy, NY

Yes Peggy, You might try ThyroCare on your own. You might try Thyroid Px through your doctor. You might also try Cardiac Px Capsules through your doctor. Cardiac Px Capsules contain a blend of tonic herbs to support cardiovascular function and provide long-term cardiac support and maintenance. A number of traditional plants such as Lily of the Valley and Night Blooming Cereus have been shown to have cardiotonic properties. These plants contain glycosides which resemble steroid molecules with a carbohydrate residue. They help maintain healthy cardiac rate, rhythm and function. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD
