Saw my doc yesterday..he was elated with my results (not half as elated as me).. and told me "you are the reason I keep doing the Wilson's Protocol, people like you come in and get better, how can I stop doing it?"

I started with ThyroCare, Adaptogen, and Healthy Foundation almost 5 months ago. My temperature is still on the low side, but I feel better. The most noticeable improvement is my attitude and sense of well-being. My depression has lifted, and my outlook on life has dramatically improved. There was a two week window when I ran out of these products, and my depression returned...I quickly reordered! Four months ago I added DB Care...resulting in a trimmer waistline. I am not diabetic, but I have a sweet tooth. My sugar/high glycemic carbohydrate cravings have subsided and I find myself making healthier food choices while taking DB Care. These four products are now part of my daily routine.++ Will Dallas, TX

I love ThyroCare! I took it before I had breast cancer in 2003 because I had a low body temp. I loved it, but had to do the whole breast cancer journey. I am now fine, healthy actually. So, I wanted to get back on it because it was so great in giving me energy - made me feel normal, like I did in my 30's. Since I have gotten back on the ThyroCare, I have been doing all sorts of things and refuse to live without it from now on. I walk 2-3 miles daily. I love this product! ++ Thanks, Leslie T.

I have been on WT3 for about a year and a half. I feel it saved my life. I have had a hard time capturing my temp. Lately, because I've missed dose times a lot...I have used the T4 test dose to steady myself. It definitely helps... but an interesting thing I have noticed is that after a test dose my temp goes to 98.6. Does this mean I am hypothyroid too? Also, though I have read the Manual over and over, I am not sure about how to do the test dose (T4). I have been taking T3 as usual and the T4 inserted somewhere between the two daily doses. Thank you Sincerely for making this treatment available! SG, Calif.

No SG, Your temperature going up with a T4 test dose doesn't necessarily mean that you are hypothyroid. On page 121 of the Doctor's Manual a "crumbling" of the temperature is discussed. Though the situation isn't exactly the same as you describe, the same principle may apply. The principle here is that sometimes it appears easier to reach a higher temperature when T3 stimulation to the cells is steadier. And of course, the T4 test dose is for steadying the thyroid stimulation of the cells. Usually, T4 test doses do not increase body temperatures, but if you are seeing that it may be due to the steadying effect of the T4. Pages 131-132 of the Manual describe how often to take the T4 test dose. PRN means Please Repeat as Necessary, which means take it when you need it but not necessarily on a schedule. If you don't need it then you don't need to take it, and if you do need it then anytime is fine. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism -- my numbers are just slightly below normal. However, my symptoms are definitely low thyroidism!! I am going to see an endocrinologist in Jan. I have some nodules on my thyroid. I've had the nuclear scan and ultrasound. Fatigue is my biggest problem, along with PMS. I've noticed memory loss also. I'm really interested in WTS because it does sound like me. Any comments on my bloodwork being considered hyperthyroidism? Thanks, Denise, Harrison City, Pennsylvania

Dear Denise, If your TSH is low and your T4 and T3 are elevated, you could still have WTS and low body temperatures! It's possible to have hyperthyroidism and Wilson's Temperature Syndrome at the same time. In such a case it would be advisable to get the hyperthyroidism under control first and then correcting the WTS. ThyroCalm Px is designed to promote balance of thyroid hormones and to support an over-functioning thyroid. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD

I would like to know if there is a connection between Wilson's Temperature Syndrome and Insulin resistance/PCOS?

Hyperinsulinemia is common in patients with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Patients with Hyperinsulinemia almost always have low body temperatures. Correcting low body temperatures with the WT3 protocol reduces insulin levels dramatically perhaps even to normal and the effect often persists even after the treatment's been discontinued. DB Care provides support for healthy insulin levels. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD
